Supporting Institutions

Open Library of Humanities

The Open Library of Humanities is financially supported by an international library consortium. This means that we never have to charge our authors to publish with us. In turn, we therefore have no incentive to admit sub-par work to the platform, unlike some open-access journals. The OLH is a not-for-profit enterprise with the sole mission of advancing open access to research.

Since our financial launch in January 2015, the below institutions have signed up to support the platform. Including block signups (see below) this is a current total of 218 institutions.

Funder and Block Support

In addition, we have block support from the GALILEO consortium, comprised of over 2000 institutions (with a membership level equivalent to 25 libraries) in the State of Georgia, for which we are extremely grateful. We also have a contribution from 2016-2020 from the FWF equivalent to 15 institutions. Likewise, we are thankful to the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for their generous funding. We are most grateful to funders for their participation and help.

We sincerely thank all supporting institutions who have made the OLH possible.
